A small-scale power generation and distribution system composed of distributed energy sources, energy storage devices, energy conversion equipment, loads, monitoring and protection devices. It can operate either connected to the main grid or independently, enabling flexible and efficient application of distributed energy sources.

Clean energy sources such as photovoltaics and wind turbines serve as the primary power supply, supplemented by natural gas combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP)
Battery energy storage provides flexible regulation, ensuring short-term power supply balance and emergency backup
Consumes the electricity generated by the microgrid; some 'controllable loads' (such as charging piles) can adjust their electricity consumption time based on power supply conditions
Monitors power generation, load, and energy storage status; automatically switches to grid-connected mode; quickly isolates faulty sections during faults to protect system safety
